Top 5 Full-Coverage Foundations
Look, I’m all for a “natural look” but sometimes you just need to cover it all, look flawless, and make it last all day and night. This is where a full coverage foundation comes in. Not sure which one to try? These are my Top 5 Best Full Coverage Foundations I’ve tried so far and right now two of them are on sale!

Finding your shade: With product testing in-store unavailable, it can be kind of scary to pick a shade without trying it out first. Ulta recommends trying their interactive virtual try-on experience called GLAMlab in the Ulta Beauty app, though I’m not sure how many products they feature, and Sephora has a shade finder on most product pages where you can enter your current brand and shade and they’ll try to find a match. Definitely worth a try if you’re new to the brand or to help point you in the right direction.
Return Policies: If all else fails and the shade just isn’t right (which has happened to me plenty of times), Ulta and Sephora have a Return Policy that both state you have 60 days to return in-store or by mail for a refund or exchange, it just excludes original shipping fees. Remember, if you have a store nearby, you can always order online for pick-up to avoid shipping fees.

What I say: This one is coming in hot at #1. You don’t have to wait for this one to go on sale, it’s always $20! It’s got great coverage and you’re supporting an indie-brand; however, the only thing I struggled with was finding the perfect shade because it kept coming out orange, but once I figured out the shade, I was absolutely thrilled.
What they say: This foundation offers a smooth application with a natural and soft matte finish to give a flawless coverage. A great formula to even out the complexion, refine skin texture and erase blemishes, maintaining the initial finish throughout the day. Suitable for all skin types including sensitive and oily skin.

What I say: This foundations has a very even and matte look. It’s not cakey at all and I love the SPF factor, especially since I work outside sometimes.

5. Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup

What I say: I love this foundation but it is heavy. It does have a tendency to clog pores so make sure your skin care routine includes an oil to take off every bit of makeup afterwards. Absolutely amazing for when you need a flawless look that lasts all day but I can feel a but like paper mache on your face after awhile, which I don’t mind as long as I‘m flawless. Again, your makeup removal afterwards is the most important step of wearing this foundation.
