Target Book Aisle Got Me Again… It Wasn’t Even Books
The Target book aisle got me again, but this time it wasn’t even the books. 📚😅
It was all the cute little bookish things around the books. The enamel pins, the reading light, the mug, the “I’d rather be reading” accessories. Basically everything the inner child/bookworm/millennial part of my brain did not stand a chance against.
Target knew exactly what they were doing…
It had me romanticizing my reading life for a second…maybe for an hour.
Like yes, I already have books to read.
Yes, I probably already have a mug.
No, that does not mean I can emotionally walk past a tiny book pin.
I didn’t go in looking for reader accessories.
I found reader accessories.
And now I need a designated little bookish corner, apparently. ✨
