Fenty Dupe Alert: How Many Carats Highlighter

Ready for the next Fenty Beauty dupe?

I originally shared the NYX California Beamin’ Glow Booster as an affordable option, but that one is no longer easy to find. So I went back to searching, testing, and comparing because we needed a new one.

And I think I found it!

Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Diamond Dust

Price:$12-13

Shade: Starlit Glow

If you love the Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb look because it gives that sparkly, diamond-dusted, light-catching glow, this Physicians Formula one gives a really similar vibe for a lot less.

It is not a flat powder highlight. It has that pretty, glassy, glimmering finish that looks gorgeous on the cheekbones, collarbones, shoulders, inner corners, or anywhere you want that soft sparkle.

The New Dupe: Physicians Formula Diamond Dust

The reason this works as a Fenty Diamond Bomb alternative is because it gives that same kind of “is my skin sparkling?” effect.

It is not just a basic champagne highlighter. It is more of a sheer, sparkly veil that catches the light without needing a full glam face underneath it.

That is what makes it feel closer to Fenty Diamond Bomb than a regular highlighter.

I would use this:

on the cheekbones
on the collarbones
on the shoulders
on the inner corners
on the center of the lid
or lightly over the body for a summer glow

If you want the most Fenty-like effect, use a fluffy brush and tap off the extra before applying. You want a thin veil of sparkle, not a heavy stripe of highlight.

if you want the splurge….

Listen, Fenty Diamond Bomb is still that girl. If you want the original sparkle and you don’t mind spending more, this is the one.

Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb All-Over in How Many Carats?!

Price: $43

How Physicians Formula Diamond Dust Compares

Fenty’s How Mnay Carat’s is still beautiful. It has that soft, bouncy, glittering veil finish that makes the skin look expensive and sparkly without looking like a chunky glitter highlighter.

But if you do not want to spend Fenty money, Physicians Formula Diamond Dust gives you a similar light-catching sparkle for much less.

The biggest difference is that Fenty feels a little more luxe and refined in the pan and on application. Physicians Formula still gives the glow, but I would apply it lightly and build slowly so it does not look too heavy.

my take

This is the one I’d buy now that the NYX California Beamin’ Glow Booster is no longer available.

It gives the sparkle. It gives the glow. It gives that pretty diamond-dusted finish.

Is it an exact formula dupe? No.

But if what you loved about Fenty Diamond Bomb was that soft, sparkly, expensive-looking glow, Physicians Formula Diamond Dust is a really good affordable option to try.

And honestly, I love when a drugstore product gives us that high-end beauty feeling without the high-end price.
